The Rockies did little this offseason to improve their chances of winning and will continue to rebuild with young players. P-Jeff Francis is a big left hander who could develop into a solid starter if he can shake off the high ERA that comes with the Rocky Mountain air. Helton continues to put up MVP numbers every year, but after signing a 10 yr contract a few years back at high $$, is near impossible to trade. Most preseason polls have the Rocks in the bottom five going into '05' and it's hard to make an argument against that.
